In WordPress, there is a lot of themes (free and Paid) providing WordPress starter theme to import demo site to build websites. Here am explaining two themes for which you can import demo content of starter templates i.e., Astra theme and OceanWP theme, according to your requirement choose one of the starter template and import demo site content.
Here, am showing step by step process for how to import demo content of the sample WordPress site.
1. Here I am explaining the Astra theme for the starter template to import demo content
Step 1:
First, go to Appearance > WordPress.org then you will see the above page then your search for a theme which you want to install then install and activate the theme but I am explaining here Astra theme so I installed Astra theme.
Step 2:
After installing the Astra theme you will see Astra options in the Appearance > Astra options then click this you will get like this
In the above image right side, it is having Install Import plugin click on this to install the import plugin. After this install, you have to choose which page builder you want to use to build a website. Here I choose elementor (because I regularly use elementor to build a website)
Step 3:
After selecting elementor it will go to all starter template section among all select one to build website.
Step 4:
In this example i selected marketing agency template to import
When you choose template you can see below import complete site and import About Us template. Choose import Complete site then you will get popup which you want to import. In above pic which is showing keep like this and import then you will complete import of demo site.
Enter your site URL in the browser and see your theme starter template will completely import demo content. Now you can edit the complete WordPress starter theme site with your design skills.
2. Here I am explaining the OceanWP theme for the starter template to import demo content
Follow above astra steps how to install and activate theme and then click on OcenWP theme then you will see like below
In the above pic, you will see in the down Install Plugins, you have to install this plugin (mandatory plugins to use this theme) and after installing go to the above page then you select starter templates then it will show all starter templates choose one template and build WordPress starter theme according to your designing skills.
